Remember to BD every other day. Don't do it every day.

One thing about Fertell. I never use it. My husband's intern (pharmactist) did a research project in school. It is very accurate, but it is very easy to miss the step and mess up the test result. Their conclusion is to follow the rules 100%, just be careful. It may be more worth to go to Drs and let them do the testing.

I want to say it again. It is very normal about how you feel. I felt the same way 29 weeks ago. I have been there. And a lot of us in this forum also have been there too. So we are here for you to vent and talk.

I felt the same way about the cost... but this is how I justified it (FWIW)... I was spending about $40 a month on OPK's and they were very unpredictable as to when I was going to "O". Some months I would get a surge with one stick others I would get a surge every day. So I ended up spending over $200 for the months I tried. So I figured 3 months of trying and it paid for itself. We also plan on having more children, so I can use it again. And when we are no longer trying, I can recoup some cost on eBay. These things go for like $100 on ebay.

What I like about the CBE Fertility Monitor is that is keeps track of your cycle and counts your days for you. You also get 3-5 days of high/peak to maximize your chances... also, a pack of 30 sticks will last 3 months (after your first month, which uses more).

Hope this helps! I would be happy to send you mine as soon as I get pregnant.

I have been doing some research on this monitor and it looks great. I just need to make some money to get one, maybe next month. I know the cost would we worth it in the long run.

Maybe something is wrong with one of us and we don’t even know it and this month after month is wasting time and energy. How soon is too soon to get tested? I feel like time is getting away from me and I don’t want that to happen. I am 31 going to be 32 in July. DH is already 33. I am just feeling really down about this whole thing and all the “new” announcements of pregnancies here, while it is great news, has really bummed me out about my situation. I guess I am being selfish there. Sorry. I just keep wondering when my time will be and should we go ahead and talk with my doctor about our fertility. It is all just getting to be too much!!

Sorry for letting me rant. I think I need a vacation!! Anyone else care to rant with me???
OMG.... do you live in my head?
My situation seems exactly the same, except I am 33, DH is 34..
And I need a vacation TOO!!
It is so frustrating when so many others around me got pregnant "by accident"...
I feel you more than you know my friend.

I'm 37 and DH is 34 (in June). DH has low sperm count and issues with morphology too. So with my age and DH's sperm issues, it's taking us longer than usual. It's been almost 18 months since we started TTC. Next step would have to be HSG test, all other blood tests on me turned out alright (am producing eggs, hormone levels ok etc ok for my age). It's been hard to say the least. Though time is easing the pain. But I still can't help maybe I'm never meant to give birth to my own children and that thought really breaks my heart.

Aww, don't think like that. I know easier said then done. Have your dr's considered IUI or what ever the initials are? If he has a low sperm count, then that seems like that could be the way to go, i dunno. I am by no means a medical expert. Just rambling on....

Remember to enjoy life, take brakes when it gets too much and just relax, think positive. This is what helped me after a year of trying (plus clomid LOL)

Yeah I know its true....it will happen. But I don't need someone telling me that all the time.

Anyway now that the period is over I am feeling a little less frustrated. I am trying to lose some weight and have lost 11 pounds so the way I see it is that I have another month to continue the diet and lose more weight until we become pregnant. So I am trying to stay positive but I do have moments where I break down, like I did when I started this thread. LOL!!!

Thanks Tabby. My mini goal is 25 pounds by June so I have two months to lose 14...I think I can do it. My long term goal is to lose a total of 50 pounds. I would love to lose it all by Christmas. I just need to stay motivated....which is easier said then done.
