Fertility after IUS removal
I had my Mirena IUS removed this week - has anyone else used this and if so how long did it take to get pregnant after it was removed? The dr said fertility returns to normal after a couple of months but also said 'everyone's different'. I'd be interested to hear others' experiences! x

I am not familar with this IUS but everyone is different. It could take a month or anywhere up to a year for your body to get back to normal. You should read the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility and start charting to keep up with your body and all the fertility signs. Good luck!!

My GYN told me that women have gotten pregnant immediately after removal of it. She said that fertility returns to whatever your baseline was prior to having it placed.
