Default Evening primrose oil, grapefruit juice - does any of them actually work?

Been TTC for a while now and just finished 6 rounds of clomid without success. Was reading a few articles that suggested drinking grapefruit juice and taking evening primrose oil can improve CM (making it a less hostile place for the little guys). What do you reckon - worth a shot?

Also, according to CM charting just before AF should be dry but I usually find that's not the case...dry from about day 21 (I'm normally 28 days or so) to day 25 then slippery egg white consistancy 26 -27 before AF starts (sorry don't mean to be yukky!). I assume I'm not ovulating THAT late so is this normal?

I also get cramp about day 21-23 then a few days respite before it starts again on day 26 or so [to go with the severe cramp on my left side round about day 12-15 which I always put down to ovulation].

Any other ladies out there will similar experience...?

My aunt said that she used primsrose oil in both pregnancies, and both of her babies came over two weeks early So I guess you could give it a go at least!

Well I drank grapefruit juice the cycle I conceived in I had cramping during ovulation too. Yes it is normal to ovulate "late", our bodies are not textbook examples of periods. But it would be good if you had minimum 10 days prior to period, the lutein phase so the conceiving can happen (ask your gyno about solutions to that) and just follow your ovulation and act accordingly (read taking charge of your fertility if you haven´t already!). Good luck!!

Hmmm...very interesting! If it worked for others, you might as well give it a go...who knows? You may have the answer in your fridge (the grapefruit juice)! Let us know if you have any luck, my vote is try it!
