So.. tested this morning. Only on CD28 which would put me at about 11DPO (estimate..) My first test which was a CVS cheapie came out like this..

I've never used this brand before. I'm assuming this is a classic evaporation line that I see people talking a out? It looks blue though.. not totally gray.

So I took a FRER test and it looks negative.

Has anyone else had an evap line like that? Btw, it shows up more in person than on camera..

Ooh.. you can barely see it at all in that pic. LOL. Trust that it's darker in person or I wouldn't have even posted this.

I can see something but not sure if it is an evap. Personally I do not like blue dye tests at all. When I got pregnant DH bought me a blue dye test and it was - . Later on I took a Dollar Store tests and it came up +right away. My FRER took a few more days to show +.

I would suggest trying a dollar store test if you can get one. Not only are they inexpensive but they do not need a lot of HcG to show positive.

Keeping my Fx that the CVS test is the start of a BFP though.

One more just for reference because I think this is just a crappy test result. If it helps anyone in the future..

I took it out of the case to get a better pic. I also read that blue dye tests are more prone to evap lines. This one is straight up blue though so I think it's just a faulty test.

(I did take this test with FMU and the FRER test with not FMU.. so I don't know how much that plays a role but I'm guessing not that much)

I can see a very light line. I'd still use a non blue dye test though. I hope you get your positive!

Aw.. thanks guys! I'm really not very hopeful though.. honestly. I have AF cramps and I'm moody. I feel like she's coming..

Also, I took a digital test, just to see and that came out "not pregnant"

Anyway, for reference, here is a pic of my negative "FRER" test.. I think I see another faint evap line! How annoying.

FWIW (and other people may have had different experiences), whenever I had ANY kind of additional line show - no matter how faint or how long after I initially used the test - I was pregnant. Whenever I was not pregnant, all tests showed no line whatsoever, no matter how faint. The surest bet is to wait a few days and test first thing in the morning, though.

Wait a couple more days and see if AF comes. If not, take another test. Sometimes you don't get a positive right away because you conceived later than you thought. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

FYI to you and anyone else testing now or in the near future: Digital tests need A LOT of Hcg to show a positive so definitely do not use/count on them in terms of getting an answer as to whether or not you are pregnant. I would not even touch one until you are a few days late. This will save you the stress of whether or not you are pregnant as well as save your wallet from pretty much flushing money down the toilet.

Also for anyone that is a POASaholic ( pee on a stick aholic) invest on some internet cheapie OPKS and pregnancy tests. You can get them from Amazon or ebay.

I see a line on both of your tests and do not think that the chances of getting evaporation lines on 2 different brands of tests is high. I really am thinking that you have a very early BFP. HCG takes about 48 hours to double so if you can hold off testing tomorrow, test on Thursday. You will have a clearer answer as to whether or not this is the real deal.

Also pee in a cup and then dip a test. That way if the results are questionable you can dip another test without having to wait hours to test again.

Thanks everyone, I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Glad I'm not the only one seeing double lines. I'm just going to test every morning until AF shows or a get a real positive.

I have this feeling like AF is coming.. I refuse to get my hopes up. Wish me luck! I'll keep updating. Regardless, it may help someone going thru this later.
