He hasn't experienced what you did so thats why he came off as insensitve!!

Sit down with your dh and tell him how hurt you are and it would only be appropriate if he apologized!

keep in mind - men are the biggest idiots that walk the face of this earth

where he think he was being funny, he was actually being an a**hole. i'm sure it hurt your feelings but take it for what it is. he doesn't know any better, smh

my boyfriend did the same thing when we lost our baby. say something like "that was months ago - get over it". lemme tell you i wanted his head on a stick! but again...he is a man, they only think with the lower region of their bodies. I hope you feel better

He was way out of line if you ask me! It's so insensitive of him..I'd be livid! Hopefully he was just stupid and didn't think before he spoke...I'll give him the benefit of the doubt, he is a man after all...just hope that he didn't know any better.

so sorry for your loss...DH was probably not thinking, but i would be upset as well. try to talk to him - he may be suffering from emotions during this stressful time as well.
