Oh great! I forgot to push the "m" button on the Clearblue monitor this month and now I've to use OPK

No problem but when I need it most and it would not work! I've my IUI scheduled this Friday!!!!

Update:: I know i should be posting this in the pregnancy thread, but i feel very lost there and this forum feels closer to home. So i had my first prenatal appt. today and it turns out that i'm not 8 weeks but only 6 weeks pregnant. I guess thats normal. due date is 12/25/08.

How are you feeling? Any morning sickness yet? I hope you're doing great and have a healthy and smooth pregnancy!

Aww... I remember when I would have my non stress tests done in the maternity ward during Christmas time. I saw one mother being discharged with her new baby. The baby wore this little bitty santa hat that I guess the ward puts on the babies born during Christmas time. It was the cutest thing EVER!!

Its kinda crazy in that forum!

Ok, so I need a lesson in gestation 101. How do they determine that you aren't 8 weeks? What happened during those 2 weeks? If we know when we O and bed down on either side of it how could it be 2 weeks off? Wouldn't you have had a period? I am so confused

Congrats Pinkdot!

I think the always use the day of your last period to calculate your due date. And they can measure your fetus in the first appointment to calculate your due date. I just went to my appointment today, the Dr told me it actually is more accurate to determine the due date at the early stage of pregrenancy.

Honestly 2 weeks doesn't make any difference.

BTW, I love the TTC forum too.

Last night i had my first almost vomiting experience..not good.. my stomach is gassy, i couldnt go to sleep at all..it really sucked. Hopefully, it wont be too bad cuz i'm going on my vacation next friday :).

When i told the doc that my last period was on march 4th, she said then you are 8 weeks. but when she did the ultrasound, it only calculated as 6 weeks. Of course we were shocked, but she said its according to when you conceived. The nurse said its normal. It was exciting when she was showing us, where the itty bitty fetus was. I gotta see the doc in 4 weeks again.
