Default Cervical Fluid question

Ok... I'm in my mid 30s never conceived before, pretty new to TTC, and noticed I don't get this eggwhite-like discharge every menstrual cycle. I used to get it often when I was between 27-31 yrs old, but sporadically after age 31. Does it mean I'm becoming less fertile? Or does this icky thing become more fluid as I age that it gets absorbed into my pantyliner?

Well i never had the sticky eggwhite discharge and i'm 28. Mine has always been more fluid and watery. I am on my 3rd pregnancy and each pregnancy i concieved the first month trying. So i don't think the more watery discharge the less fertile.

It can "dry up" so to speak after a certain age, I have read, but that may not mean you are becoming less fertile. Some woman do not have great cervical fluid at any age. You should try pre-seed. It is a great intimate lubricant that mimics the cervical fluid and helps the sperm survive and flourish, so to speak. Another great thing is to get the book "Taking Charge of your Fertility." It is a great book and answers a lot of questions.

Good luck!!

Sometimes you need to check internally, Taking Charge of Your Fertility will explain how to check and chart. It is the TTC bible!

This might be TMI, but mine is most noticable after a BM near ovulation. (Sorry, so gross )
