I had my ultrasound today and it turns out i have Blighted Ovum. I'm pregnant w/no embryo.

What is better to get done, D&C or natural miscarriage?

I am so sorry. ((((Hugs))))

Did your Dr. recommend the D&C? Lots of women prefer to have them just to get it over with rather then waiting. Take some time to think about it.

I´m so sorry. Please take care of yourself. If I were to choose, I would take the medical one, it´s quicker. *hugs*

Oh pinkdot I am so sorry about this. Do take some time to decide but I think if I were in that position I would do a D&C just to get it over and done. The pain I would feel to wait and let it happen naturally would destroy me.

Please take care and let us know if we can do anything!!

I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you will feel better soon. Take good cares.

Some info from my OB for you to think about, 4-6 weeks miscarriage can happen by itself to have a natural miscarriage and usually with no tissues remain. 6-8 weeks will be the grey area which means there might be a chance that after a natural miscarriage, tissues remain and may required a D&C. OB can check to make sure if you need a D&C or not. 8-12 weeks usually suggest to have a D&C.

I am so sorry. I know how hard it is, I experienced a blighted ovum and a embryo that stopped developing at 7.5 weeks back in Feb 2008 (twins). I chose a D&C because I wanted to deal with it and move on. It is a very personal choice but from my standpoint, the medical procedure was very easy, the emotional part is another story. Take care of yourself.

((( Pinkdot ))) I'm very very sorry

I vote for the D&C, get it over and done with physcially. Then you have time to heal emotionally. I had a m/c too, so I understand how you feel. Hang in there. You can try again in 2 - 3 months.
