I object to the wife being described as "greedy" because she didn't boot him out, or that she "needs her behind kicked." She is his legally wed wife, how she chose to handle it whether or not we believe she 'knew' is irrelevant. Some people believe the marriage is something that is forever, perhaps she is one of them. Since we only know what is in the news, and she has made no statement, we have no way of knowing anything about her or the situation in their home and marriage. I think she deserves the benefit of the doubt.

^ well said.

I read that she is much too devasted and has been locked up in the house. I don't think at this point she is thinking about his cheating, she is more upset that she just lost her husband and the father of her children. He was her family after all.

Some things aren't always about money...

This story is so sad. My heart goes out to his family, especially his children.

Since I was the one who said she needed her behind kicked, I'll comment on this. Thinking your marriage is forever is one thing, but my post was about the both of them continuing to bring kids into that trainwreck of a marriage, not about her staying. I stand behind what I said. What happens between a husband and wife is one thing, but those kids didn't ask for this embarrassing fiasco.

I don't know where I read this, but I believe that only two of the children are biologically his wife's kids. I don't know who is the mother of the other two kids.

This whole thing is sad. When I was in college, I lived in the same apartment complex as Steve McNair and at that time he was playing for the Oilers. Always seemed so nice and genuine. He smiled and said hello all the time and would always be open to chatting a little about how his season was going. He even occasionally came to some of our parties, and would bring a couple friends and some liquor and say thank you when he left. Seemed like just a regular guy who was nice and polite.
I know when he became a big star in Tennessee, he really tried to give back to the community and be a role model on the outside.
Just sad to see he had this dark side and a weakness for women. The poor family he left behind.
