I hear her mom and dad were killed in Iran, and she came to the US in 2002.

What a tragedy. And a shame that these circumstances will be part of his legacy. I'm just relieved that the mistress (assuming she pulled the trigger) didn't go after Steve's wife and children.

What a shame, the poor family. I cannot imagine what they must be going through.

Supposedly, it's well known around MS that he was a cheat and stepped out on his wife quite often. Nevertheless, it has to be unbelievably difficult to not only have your husband cheat on you, but to be killed also. I hope this is a wake-up call to anyone who is cheating or playing games with another person's life. It's just not worth it in the end.

its not a new thing for Athletes (NBA, NFL) to cheat on their wives. But I do hope they understand that you cannot toy with someone's feelings. if you tell them that you love them and stuff, they WILL believe it!

I also fear for the wife and especially the kids who lose in all of this

Some wives look the other way at cheating. How could the wife NOT know? He took vacations with the g/f and he was with her overnight at that condo? If that were my husband he sure as hell would not be taking vaykays with young girls right under my nose. Maybe she knew and turned a blind eye? Hard to know? Either way though, none of them deserved this, including the mistress. What would make someone think this was the only way out?
