Now that I know the leather is awesome and Quality is good I am sold on these sometimes funky bags. Treesje has an edge not everyone likes. But this Fall there seems to be a bag for alot of different tastes. It's going to take some time.
I agree with this. I have been admiring Treesje from afar for a few years, but have not taken the plunge. I'm about ready to, though, because of all the phenomenal feedback about the Asher. I'm going for it! I just visited this subforum recently and have read a lot before posting. I will be active here!

LuvAllBags you're not going to regret it! I've had my Treesje for a few months now and love it! I switch back and forth between my bags but find myself still going back to my Asher time and time again. It's such a beautiful and chic bag.

^ I don't think you would be disappointed with the quality, as they are hard to beat. I have bags ranging from Balenciaga to RM and I can't stop switching between my Treesje Asher and Sophia!
I really hope to add a Mini Asher and Magnolia to my collection this year! Treesje bags are amazing!

Keep us updated Tara!!

Tara- I haven't needed to use AG on mine, yet. My Asher has a glazed leather and the Sophia is a smooshy black so I didn't see any reason to AG them.

You are going to LOVE your new Asher!! Welcome to the Treesje club!

Well for me, Treesje is more popular HERE than IRL. I have never seen one live, nor have I heard anyone talk about it. Pretty much same as RM, for me.

As for the original question, I think Treesje as a subforum is still possibly too new to garner much activity. RM's subforum certainly has help in attracting people with tPB's posts on the brand as well, whereas Treesje hasn't been featured as frequently (although a few more Treesje posts have popped up of late on tPB/tPBsavvy). Certainly, the frequency of sales on RM helps a lot in attracting attention as well. Treesje doesn't seem to hold as many sample sales or online sales, so bargain-hunters may not always come by to check out the brand either.
They do. I'm pretty sure they're owned by the same company.

Really? Who is their parent company? I thought both RM and Treesje were independently operated American brands. They are not certainly owned by one of those gigantic fashion houses, no?

Me too. I don't think there is any relation.

Yeah, this. I haven't seen any information anywhere, neither here nor in the RM subforum, to indicate that either company might be owned by a larger parent company. As far as I'm aware, they're both independent businesses. Where did you get this information about Treesje and RM being owned by the same company, Daydrmer?

ETA: Treesje, Inc and Rebecca Minkoff, Llc. I have no idea how accurate the information at this site is, but I see nothing that might possibly hint at the two companies being owned by a parent company. (See Kate Spade Llc for comparison; Kate Spade is owned by Liz Claiborne, Inc.)

The reason why I do not own any Treesje bags personally is because they are too big for me. I do like their designs though!

I may try out Treesje again because they are introducing smaller bags now. The Mini Asher is really popping out at me.
