Oh no, please don't take the risk with The Hip Chick, LR! Their CS is atrocious, as was reported previously in the RM subforum, and as I experienced for myself. This thread is the one that should've had me running away, but I was silly enough to hope that I'd get lucky and have a good experience instead. Not so at all...

They're really rude and unprofessional, IMHO. I remember reading a post where someone called them up and asked them about a bag, and the staff member got really rude once the TPF'er said she wasn't interested after all. Not worth it even if you can't find a bag anywhere else at all! (And there's no telling whether or not what they send you will actually be in decent condition either.)

ew the "as seen as vanessa minillo" metro clutch isn't even the same silver... silver crackle is much more mirrored than the old silver...

Yeah but you wanna be careful! They had a silver metro clutch that I almost bought and they showed wrong pictures of it and wrong colors because the actual color was silver cackle.

I remember seeing the yellow asher somewhere..Amazon? or basic.. try go through the list of retailer...
How about a yellow geneva if you can't find a asher..there are available everywhere still. It's a great bag!

I once ordered a quilted MAC on The Hip Chick, but I realized one of the pic. they placed was a normal patent, so I sent an email to ask CS to clarify exactly which one they were trying to sell. They apologized and took away the wrong photo.

However, after a few days, they informed me the quilted MAC that I ordered was out of stock, so I asked them to cancel.

I guess you just have to be extra careful with their photos and descriptions.

I'd definitely try every other place first, or wait it out on ebay or something instead, to be honest. It'll be a huge hassle if you took the risk and it turned out that the bag is either not the one pictured, or in really poor condition. Even emailing or calling them to ask about the bag and its condition is hardly a foolproof thing either, as I can attest! The only "safe" route is to see the bag in person first, but they are, of course, in Texas...

I dunno, if you really want the bag that badly, you could take the risk, I suppose.

I just think that said risk is a really high one, and I wouldn't advise anyone to do it, no matter how much they want the bag.

Thanks for the warnings ladies! Well, I wont be taking any risks because I can't aford teh bag at full price anyway. It would be a different story if it were discounted majorly =) I've already purachsed two Asher thsi week so I am done!

Please do PM me if you see any Yellow Ashers in the future though...

Keep checking places like Amazon.. I bought my London Hobo and Ebags cause I saw it cheaper on Amazon and Ebags has 110% price guarantee..so it cost me $180

Nope, there isn't one yet, unfortunately. There was previous talk of a TPF discount from either Laura or Sheila, and it actually surfaced for the Cream Magnolia order (15% off), but it doesn't apply to Treesje.com yet. I also asked this question in the "Questions for Laura and Sheila" thread here, so you can check out Treesje Chick's actual response there!
