Hi everyone!
I've recently discovered Treesje and I'm already in love with a few bags that I've seen here in this subforum. My 'bags to get in the future'-list just keeps growing and growing .One bag that I saw on the Treesje website that really caught my eye is the Hendrix Hobo. The round lining actually reminds me of a leather jacket my mother used to wear when I was very little . Her jacket had a light grey-ish color, so I would love to get this bag in a similar light color!I just can't seem to find any (modeling/reveal) pictures of the Hendrix Hobo. Am I really the only one that loooves this bag (is it my mom's jacket? )? Modeling pictures would be great for reference on the size and the way it drops when wearing it. So... anyone have this bag?(I attached the Hendrix in Wine. Also love that color on this bag!) |

I love the looks of it and at one time considered buying it but did you see the size??? That bag is 19 x 12 inches. It's my one big problem with Treesje. Some of their bags (that look so awesome) are just too huge and it ruins it for me. The Haze bag was such a cool cool bag but totally unusable.
LB has modeling pics but the bag doesn't look so large, just as the Haze didn't look so large either. |

Yup, I'd check out Luna Boston's site for their modelling pics. Keep in mind that their models are still models, though (i.e. tall; I think LB mentioned 5'7" - 5'9"?), so like Lexie said, they can make some bags look a little smaller than they actually are in person, particularly depending on your size.
That said, there's a Hendrix Mini size too, IIRC, so that could be worth looking into! |

This all drives me crazy. I just checked the Treesje site and it lists the Hendrix as 16 x 12 which makes it very reasonable. Who are we to believe?
I also love the River bag but the Treesje site says it's 21 inches long!!! I think they'd sell more bags if they made them a neutral size. Most women don't need a 21 inch long bag for everyday. |

^ That must be a mistake or maybe those are the Mini Hendrix measurements.
I am a huge fan of this bag but I think it would be better in the mini.. I think. |

Re: the measurements, I think it really all comes down to how each party measures the bag. I know LB sometimes measures bags flat/empty (e.g. a Botkier that I bought that was 20" across as measured by them, but really around 17" when I measured it moderately stuffed with paper), and sometimes they measure them stuffed too. (I think the Jovi/Soleil dimensions may also have differed because of that, or otherwise because of different points of measurement.)
For the Hendrix, my guess is that it's probably about 16-17" long, judging by the modelling pics. Here's a link to LB's page for the Botkier I mentioned, and here's a link to the Hendrix. It's the same model in the pics, so that provides a good scale for comparison, and judging by the pics with the bag on the shoulder, they look like they're about the same length. Hmm, hopefully LB can come by here and clarify this too? |
