Exclamation Vote for your fav. hotel for the BIG VEGAS MEET!

Hey everyone. A lot of people have mentioned they want to stay in the same hotel as the majority of tPF'ers. I know some of you will want to stay in a specific hotel, and thats fine. Go ahead and choose your favorite hotel, in a couple weeks I will close this thread and have another REAL official thread stickied with all of the OFFICIAL information in it. This thread is just to get an idea of the main choice of hotel.
After we choose the main hotel, you can all start booking your rooms!!!!

Ok, some of the sites are not yet letting people reserve for August '09, so I just went with the last month they would let me reserve(does that make sense?) so all prices are of course subject to change, but Im 90% sure they will remain ABOUT the same price. All of the following prices are from Hotels.com or the actual casino/hotel site.

Wynn(from WynnCasino.com)-$300.00

Planet Hollywood(Hotels.com)-$109.00

Palazzo(PalazzoLasVegas.com)-$239.00

Venetian(Venetian.com)-$259.00

Bellagio(Hotels.com)-$259.00

Luxor(Hotels.com)-$160.00

Excalibur(Hotels.com)-$77.00

MGM Grand(Hotels.com)-$180.00

Paris(ParisLasVegas.com)-$300.00

Mandalay Bay(Hotels.com)-$290.00

Caesars Palace(Hotels.com)-$235.00

Monte Carlo(Hotels.com)-$130.00

Mirage(Mirage.com)-$149.00

New York New York(Hotels.com)-$135.00

Treasure Island(Hotels.com)-$169.00

Harrah's(Harrah's.com)-$119.00

Flamingo(Harrah's.com)$160.00

Bally's(Harrahs.com)-$129.00

Stratosphere(Hotels.com)-$80.00

Circus Circus(Hotels.com)-$67.00

Ok, those are the best rates I found my friends! Hopefully they dont change too much! With the economy the way it is, it seems like the news is always talking about prices going up on something, hopefully the hotel prices will stay the same! lol.

If anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me or Socialite

Just wanted to chime in on the Wynn- you can get much better rates from promotions, usually, closer to the time of the trip. Right now, I know of at least one currently active promotion that will get you a room there for $199 + $100 dining credit at one of their restaurants. It is truly a fantastic hotel, and I really can't say enough about it. And if you guys have enough people going, you might be able to get an even better group rate- I had a conference rate of $169 there last year in December.

^^I will close everything the end of August to give everyone enough time to vote. Looks like the Wynn is in the lead though!
