I'd LOVE to join you all for a tPF Meet in Vegas next summer!

This past year, I have had the amazing good fortune of being able to attend not one but two wonderful tPF meets! My first was the Jan. '08 LV Meet outside Philadelphia in the KOP Mall, and my second was the MoneyTalks/BBBC Meet held in Boston in Sept. '08. Words cannot express how much fun I had meeting some really sweet PFers IRL at each gathering, so... I can't wait to do it again!

I, Layney, publicly declare to my fellow tPFers

that between now and August 2009, I shall:

1. Remain on a bag ban;

2. Love and rotate each bag
in my current *Perfect 7* collection;

3. Pay off my cc debt;

4. Save up cash for the Vegas Meet; and

5. Hopefully purchase my next new bag at that time!

I'M IN! I'M IN! I can't believe I missed this thread. One thing to consider is when the 'down-times' are in Vegas. I believe I got a deal at the Bellagio a couple of years ago for a little over $100 a night and I believe it was the end of July or the first part of August. Wait! I just found the date and I stayed from July 23, 07 -July 27. I was supposed to go w/ a friend, but at the last minute she couldn't go, so I went solo and had a blast.

The special rates are for just certain times, and that was one of them. Also, my dh and I went last year before Christmas and stayed at the Bellagio for 4 days (another special rates time), but it was around $170.00, which isn't bad at all. We had planned to go after Christmas but the room prices then went up to $700 plus per night. Egads. I'd rather save for the shopping!! The after Christmas thing though ended on Jan. 2. The real deals are Sunday - Thursday nights, with the weekends more.

We spent one day at the Wynn and thought we'd stay there next time. I signed up for special rates times and have gotten several alerts from them since then. Both are gorgeous, but I really liked the Wynn a little better.

It's late and I'm babbling, lol. Just throwing some things out though for your consideration. I am half-asleep, but ECSTATIC about this!
