Southeast tPF'ers -- meetup in Atlanta?

So Kara and I might be able to make this. We need to head up to IKEA anyway.

Is dinner/lunch planned or is the Tavern just a meeting point??

veez, I think BagLuver said she would make the reservation once we have a head count. I was thinking we could make it on Sep. 11 ( since we said to "RSVP" by the 10th

). Unless you think the Tavern needs more advance warning? - ya'll probably know better than I would, since I'm an out-of-towner.

I hope ya'll can come! How long of a drive is it from J'ville to Atlanta?

I think the plan is to meet up at the Tavern @ 1:00 pm, eat lunch, and then browse around... we're going to have a reservation under a certain name, I think that's going to be the easiest way to actually meet up.

Hi veez! I had previously volunteered to make the reservation but have not done so yet. I was waiting to see if we get more confirmed. You are absolutely welcome to make the reservation if you like - makes no difference to me! Should I assume you are going to take care of it? Just let me know. Whoever makes the reservation should probably PM all the attendees a couple or so days before to let them know what name it is under. Looking forward to it!

Oh, sorry I didn't see what you posted about making a reservation after the final headcount, my bad!

I haven't been to Tavern for ages, but it seems always busy at that restaurant, plus it is Sunday, the church goers might go there for a bunch. So, earlier we make the reservation, the better.

Well, I will make a reservation for 12 for now, can +/- after the 10th. It will be under TPF Gathering. I will pm you once I get it done. And if you don't mind, can I let you pm everyone else? I have to take care of DH who just got home from surgery. Now I have 2 babies to take care of. LOL.

Just got off the phone with Tavern. They don't take reservation, but they put us down for "prior seating arrangement" for 9/14 @1pm for 12, under the name "TPF Gathering".
