!! Brasserie 8 1/2 has great food!! I would do either or. Fred's is a very nice scene with elegant woman wearing great designer bags!! I think it depends on how many woman go, BRASSERIE is amazing though I really won't complain. I do agree the best brunch is downtown but it might be very inconvenient going back and forth.
