Blue -- that makes sense, everyone can just pm me their contact info as we get closer and come up with a time/place together. Place will probably depend on size of group too.
me_love -- I picked a Sunday because that's an easier day for me to arrange to be off for sure -- is the 12th a definite no for you?
Please post any suggestions as to a place to meet, have a light lunch. It's starting to look like a bit big a group for a 4Seasons tea -- we won't have any $$ left for the main event - shopping !!

I would love to do something during the week!! Maybe for dinner???!!

I went this week with the ladies from the Hermes blog and we had a great time.

Also, Even though I love the meat packing district and the downtown scene if you would like to go into some stores I think uptown is better. Perhaps something near Bergdorf's and Barney's?? Maybe even the restaurant in Barneys? All the boutiques are around there as well. Tao is also uptown right around all the boutiques !! I love that place.

Minnie -- I thought of Tao too -- certainly has the size one would need for a bigger group. Just wasn't sure whether the menu would really suit for lunch.

Also g8reat -- OP as in Original Poster ?? I guess I am organizing by default (and don't mind doing it) and Bluejeans said she'd help :)

Well we would need to figure out how many people are going and on specific date and time first and hen you proceed to choosing a location. ( and pm the locations)

I did -- and sent you a message back -- here's my problem with Saturdays -- I can send my clients to open houses easily on a Sunday, but Saturdays I have to take them out myself, so committing to a Saturday this far ahead of time is really impossible. I'd hate to set it all up and then be a "no show" myself -- I work almost every Saturday.

^^^ i usually never get done until around 11 pm, sunday's my day off so it works well with me - but if it works better for other people i'll meet you guys some other day. should we set up a poll though, to see what day works best for everyone?

I think quite a few people already commented the 12th worked for them -- no reason why we can't do more than one of these -- NYC has to be a huge potential group. I'd love to just start with August 12th brunch/shop as I wouldn't have suggested this myself for a weekday -- just not that feasible, and then if someone else wants to plan a dinner sometime -- no reason why that couldn't happen too.
