The night before (if all is going as planned) my brother is hosting a fundraising event in Maplewood so I'm not absolutely positive that I'll be able to make it anymore. I'm pretty sure it won't be an issue, but this event is a pretty big deal and I think it will be a lot of clean-up that will go late into the night. We'll see what happens as the time approaches! I'm really looking forward to this meet though! :o)

Thanks! I'm sure it will end up being a blast (one of his pals from high school is actually in a pretty spectacular band and they're going to be playing at the fundraiser). There's a 75% chance I'll be at the meet. I'm too excited to meet some awesome people not to go!

Wildflower, I hope you can come!

If there are no objections, why don't we go ahead and meet at 12:00 like we originally said then let's plan on eating later in the afternoon. We'll not have crowds to contend with then. We can decide that day where to eat, if that's OK with everyone. Is it possible to meet near the light rail station at the MOA? I think I noticed that was at the East parking lot? Then those of us who come back from DT won't have far to go to get to our cars that evening. Does that make sense? I will be sure to post when time gets closer with all the details again so that we are all clear on where to meet etc.

Any objections?
OK. Meet @ 12 noon. But 1 ?. Where? @ Cali cafe or light rail station. It would be better to meet in the mall b/c the station is kinda gross and smoggy.

^ if people are going to park on the East side, why not just meet in the rotunda or by Barnes and Noble? and then we can all decide where to eat... there's two different food courts, if we're looking to get a quick bite.

I agree, the transit station is kinda yucky...

^^ Why don't we meet in the rotunda at noon? We can then decide whether to eat right then or if we want to shop first and eat before taking the light rail dt. Then we're close to the station and east parking lot. Is there a distinctive place to meet in the rotunda? Like a special statue or something? We could meet at it. Sound good?

Well if there aren't any events going on we could meet at the backside of the elevators

I'm in!! This is practically in my backyard!

Another good lunch option that won't be over run with kids is the Nordstrom cafe--lots of good but less expensive options, and a nice atmosphere....

HMMM..... Either the Coach poppy tote because I'd love to see it IRL or the Bayswater cuz I'd love to touch it!! LOL!!! OK, I'll quit being self centered for a moment... Whatever one is easiest to carry, that's the one to bring. Either the lightest or the easiest to fling on your shoulder. I'd consider safety too when selecting. You probably want one that closes up securely. I want to bring all mine but I may opt for my swingpack just because it's so easy to use. We're so funny, aren't we?

the poppy tote is indeed beautiful IRL. I saw one at the MOA Nordstroms's and fell in love. I had seen it in on thecoach website and thought "eh", but in real life GORGEOUS!!!
As for the mulberry the antique glace has a bit different feel than the darwin, but gorgeous nonetheless
and you're right with shopping I really should be practical in my choice. with that in mind, I might go with my Bulga butterly

Did someone mention stopping at Coach and Sephora?? I love both:) Nordies has a great selection of bags, Bloomies, not so much, imo. I also spotted some sort of a boutique with random bag selections, I wish I remembered the name... Downtown, Saks Off 5th has terrible bag selection, NM is a little better and much pricier. DT also has Cole Haan store if anyone is interested.
