We went through with both meets... Oct 6 @ Bev Center & Oct 14 @ SCP.

I had fun at both and we took pics at the Bev Center one but a few members preferred to not have us post the pics online..

At Bev Center, we went into LV and saw a good amount of the fall bags, then we went into Gucci where the store manager gave us samples of Gucci's new perfume and gave us a brief history on the company.

At SCP, both Hermes & Burberry gave us a brief history on their company. Hermes also served us some drinks and gave us catalogs.. We also dropped by into LV, Chloe (who also gave us a mini speech), Gucci and Coach.

I think that is it for the most part.

Update:

We ended up doing 2 meets. One on Sat. Oct. 6 at the Beverly Center. There were 10 of us total. We had a nice lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. We all got to talk and get to know each other. Then we went upstairs to the Beverly Center. We went to LV. I think I was the only one that bought something. I bought the longer strap for my Denim Baggy PM. I wanted to get my dog a collar but they were all out of them. We got great service while we were there. We got to see a lot of the new bags. Everyone was also given an invitation to the upcoming private event. So that was very nice.

Then we went over to Gucci, and the manager over there talked to us about Gucci and all the different bags.

After that a few people had other things they needed to do. So 6 of us just went over to the Coffee Bean in the mall and talked for about an hour.

Then everyone went home. I think it was about 5:00.

There were pictures taken a few of us prefer that our pictures not be posted. They were emailed to everyone privately. Sorry

The Meet on Sun. Oct 14 was at South Coast Plaza. There was 5 of us that made it. One person from the meet a few months ago. One person from the meet the week before and one new person. And of course Virginia and I were there. We had a nice lunch at Nordstom's Cafe.

Then we went over to Hermes where they spend a lot of time with us telling us all about Hermes. We were served Champagne while we were there. One person bought a little something there.

Then we went over to Burberry and the SA spent a lot of time with us and went over every bag they carry.

Then we went over to LV. I wanted to see the new Madeline bags that just came out. I was told they still had them in the back and it took a while to bring them out, so I could see them. (I am pretty sure I am going to end up getting the PM in red, since I do not have any red bags.) I also asked about the dog collars there and they were also sold out.

Then we went over to Cloe and the SA there also spent a lot of time with us and went over everything with us.

We also stopped by Gucci and Coach for a quick look.

Everyone was tired at this point and everyone went off and did their own things. Virginia and I stopped by Dior and then went home.

So this is how our meets went.

thanks again to beljwl and mrsjimmyh for organizing. I went to the SCP meet (2nd one since joining tpf) and had a great time. Learned a lot about Hermes and Burberry, 2 brands that I am not at all familiar with. I am still thinking about that Burberry Porsum (sp??) clutch. I'd love to get it but $1400+ is a bit much for a clutch. Wish I didn't have a lot of expenses coming up.

I'm so glad everyone had a good time. I'm definitely going to try to make the next one. I just need to find a babysitter first! I think it would have been awkward if I had to lug around my 10 mos DS.
