Hey, just found this meetings forum - any Charlotte, NC get togethers?

Duh, never seen this forum before, found it by accident today and I've been on tPF for about a year. Would love to get in on any future Charlotte meetings. Please keep me in mind.

Hi Cathryn! We had one in February with about 10-12 people and a smaller group (5) May 17. We'll definitely keep you in mind for future meetings. We go to SouthPark Mall to shop and lunch.

Sounds great. I frequent that mall a couple times a month - was there Saturday. Bob Ellis Shoes is having a sale, most shoes & bags were 25% off. I'm new to the area and only found this store earlier this year during the 50% off sale. Do you know if the current sale is the semi-annual sale or is that coming next month? I saw a bag I can't find anywhere else but may hold out for a deeper discount - unless they get sold out quickly. I'm sure if I ask them, they'll say yes, buy now!

Isn't Bob Ellis great? Prada Psycho is a regular customer there and would probably know about the sales.

I envy you--I live in an area that has NO good shopping. Other than my few visits back to Chicago, the SouthPark get-togethers are my only chance to shop at nice stores.

Food: Twisted Fork, Michael Dean's, Kanki, Mayflower.....it all depends on what you have a taste for.

Shopping: Triangle Town Center and the tiny Saks Fifth Avenue they have there.

And yes, Boxermom is right...I live in the area.

It's a bit early, but sometime in September looks like it will be good for quite a few of us for our next meeting. Keep checking this forum, Cathryn. I usually start a thread a few months before our get togethers to pick a date that works and for details and such. Always room for more!!

Jill when ARE you going to come to Charlotte?!!!

Yeah I live right by Triangle Town Center and it is the SMALLEST Saks ever! But there is LV! If you go to Durham the Southpoint is nice too, there is a Nordies.

I am no help with food but have fun girls!! :)
