I don't live in your area, but my son does (McLean, VA) and I'll be nanny while the regular nanny is on vacation starting Aug. 4. My plan is to take Saturday for myself and head to Tysons II (Galleria) on Saturday, Aug. 8.

I mentioned this in the Bottega Veneta subforum where I usually hang out. Don't know if anyone in BV can make it, but I wanted to check here in your thread too. If anyone else feels like coming, let's set a time and place. It's not the best time of year, but I wanted to ask, 'cause I love meeting PF'ers!

You've had get-togethers before. Did you meet mid-morning to get a little browsing in before lunch? Say, 10:30-11am? Or is it better to meet for lunch, then shop afterwards and when people need to leave, they can?

What's your favorite lunch place? I've never eaten at the Grill--is it good? In other cities Cheesecake Factory or PF Chang's have been good.

Would love to meet you as well after all the correspondence we have had over the years.

I've been to two meetups...one with Chanel ladies and we met for lunch first at the Cheesecake Factory and then went to the Chanel boutique. This was nice because we got to get top know each other and chat first before being let loose in the store :) I also went to an Hermes meetup and for that one we just met at the H boutique..I had to leave early but I don't think they had a meal afterwards. I like the idea of lunch then shop best.

I'd recommend Busara (Thai), Cafe Deluxe, Cheesecake Factory, Bertuccis, or Capitol Grille. There is also South of the Border nearby for Mexican and Maggianos and Corner Bakery. There are several places to dine nearby that I liked when I worked nearby including sushi, Indian, etc. but would require a little more driving into Vienna and are not as close to the H boutique and all may not have the greatest ambience but do have good food.
