It's dawning on me that I will be meeting people that I won't be able to see again whenever I want to because I don't live in Crystal Lake anymore

. I'll be flying back to NC. My heart will always be in IL

By the way, if you are looking to meet at a Starbucks, the one you have already picked, next to the hotel, is the largest one, and when it gets full, crowds usually spill into the hotel lobby. So lots of room!

Boxermom, I'm so glad that you are coming all the way from NC!

We still need to choose a time ladies. The shops open around 10:00. Should we meet at Starbs at 9:30? Earlier/later? What do you all think?

I'll speak up--9:30am sounds about right, CTC. That gives us time to introduce ourselves before shopping. Depending on the size of the group we may decide to break up and then meet somewhere for lunch. I guess we'll need a head count closer to May 3rd, and decide on a lunch location and time.

Boxermom, you're from Crystal Lake? I grew up in McHenry! My best friend's mom still lives in Cary.

I think I'm gonna have to come to this meet, I'm close enough!

OMG, people from McHenry County!!!

Yeah, we lived there from 1977-2003. Both our boys went to CL Central H.S. I have friends all over the area including McHenry and Cary. Gosh, I hope you can make it May 3rd.

I see you're in Plainfield. My son's brother-in-law lived there when the epic tornado went through nearly 20 years ago. that was one for the history books. His house was in the path, but no one was injured, fortunately.

I graduated from McHenry East in 2002 - I know a lot of people that went to CL Central. I think I actually dated a guy that went there!

Yeah everyone warned us when we moved to Plainfield about the crazy tornado - we're in a new subdivision and we don't even have a basement, sometimes it makes me nervous!

I hope I can make it May 3rd - as of right now that is my only plan!
