Hi everyone!!! I live in Charlotte also and Prada Psycho just told me about your Southpark meets. I am thrilled to meet fellow tPFers. I live about 5 miles from Southpark, so I know the NM/Nordstrom wing very well.

There are a couple of other tPFers on the Christian Louboutin forum that live in NC too and I will forward this thread to them.

I look forward to meeting everyone.

^^^We can't shop properly if our men are with us--I found that to be true many years ago. The few times dh has been with me in Charlotte, he finds the Apple store or goes to a Best Buy to entertain himself with computers.

^^My DH may come, but I guarantee you he's already making plans for something else to do WITHOUT ME.

Goodness knows he CANNOT be around when I truly want to shop for the good stuff in the good stores. I'm not driving 4 hours one way to have a ball and chain. It may not be a problem anyway. If my son can't get off, my DH will have to babysit.

I am looking forward to coming over and meeting new friends.

oh and K, check US Air - they're having major sales because they're charging everyone for bags and water and stuff. Plus Charlotte is a home airport.

Two favors to ask, please PM me with your RSVP and include your cell phone number. I probably have a lot of them, but I just want to get them in one place.

Second favor: since we all tend to hang out on different designer forums and lots of members don't know the tPF meetings forum exists, please direct any of your buddies over to the thread this week. I need an acutal head count as soon as I can get on for a little surprise we'll be getting in the morning after we all arrive.

So far, I'm mending fairly well, so I'm still planning to be there. The wheelchair and DH are on standby if I need a little help.

Time's closing in guys! So far we have a really small group, which is fine, but let's see if we can pull some folks over to this thread who may not have seen it so we'll have a really good turnout.

Hi, I live exactly 90 miles from Charlotte and would love to come. However I work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights and if the meeting day is Saturday September 20th, I'm not sure I can make it - What time of day is it? I would love for my husband to come so he could see that other women's husbands are normal people and not idiots to let their wives spend this much money on leather goods - purses! He needs some serious brainwashing! Not that he "lets" me spend my own money on anything. If it's in the afternoon, I could possibly make it. Could someone update me on the final date and time? Thanks.
