^^Me too Pat. If it's a firm date, I can work on my son and hope he can get that weekend off.

It's firm enough for me!

SEPTEMBER 20 IT IS!!

Just a little side note, we all have friends on tPF that don't check this section of the forum, so you may want to point them in this direction so they can read up and post if they are coming. It helps me to have a head count and the more the merrier. Let's just say there's to be a little something planned for us when we get there and I need to know how many.

If you guys are like me, you tend to gravitate towards certain forums and never to others. If you know people on your favorite forums that might want to join us, please send them a PM directing them to this thread. Like I said earlier, if everyone that's thinking about or definitely coming posts on the meeting threads, it helps me get an idea about the size of our group.

Anyone new to the Charlotte tPF meetings, it's all very informal but we do schedule a meeting time/place etc and I like to have everyone's cell phone numbers so we can keep in touch closer to the meeting date.

More details as we see the size of our group, but let's plan to

SWARM SOUTHPARK

Hi jennifer! SouthPark has a Neiman Marcus with a nice Chanel boutique in it and a super-sweet SA there.

Haha, most of us are broke--we enjoy window-shopping. I live in an area that has very little retail, so it's a treat for me to see real stores.

^^Well we have a Target here in Myrtle Beach, but nothing high end. So, going to SouthPark is a huge treat for me too!!!!!

Oh Pat, BTW, my son told me that Charleston is getting a Louis Vuitton. They already have a Gucci there.

I wish we would get a couple of high end boutiques here. It would probably be dangerous for me though. I already get myself in enough trouble. LOL

Debbie, I know what you mean----still, you at least have bookstores and restaurants. The highlights in my town are Golden Corral and Hardee's.

I love Charleston! If it was a bit closer or a better highway down there I'd drive there often. where's the Gucci? King St? Interesting that LV is going in there. I wonder if the Saks is still there. They have Bob Ellis.

Pat, we're going to Charleston when my sister and her husband come down over Labor Day. The Saks is still there and of course Bob Ellis up the street. Most of the good stuff is on King St.

The Gucci is on the corner of King St. and something else. Can't remember the name. When you enter the Gucci from King St, there are a couple of little shops in this building. Godiva Chocolates is the only one I can remember. LOL

Not sure where the LV is going. My son just said that he saw a sign that it was coming.

I remember a LaCoste, Steve Madden, Lucky Store and I can't remember the rest of them. There are several little cafe's to eat at. I know they still do the carriage rides downtown. Although, it seems like it rains everytime I go there and the humidity is about 200%. LOL
