My favorite summer outfit....

Living in Santa Barbara it doesnt get to overly hot in the summer. So during the Summer I always wore jeans and tank tops or tube tops with flip flops or sandles. Now I live in Stockton where it's way too hot, but still I wear jeans in the summer with tanks or tube top. (i dont like my legs)

As a college student who spends most of her time studying, summer is a great time to look chic and be comfortable in the heat, all at the same time. My favorite summer outfit consists of a loose white spaghetti-strap tank (may have ties at the shoulders or gather in the back to emphasize the waist) paired with cute cuffed Bermudas. The accessories would be a colorful multi-stranded necklace, a large metal watch, enamel bracelets on the other arm, a giant colored ring, a colorful across-the-body bag (my current favorite being the Coach Bleeker Duffle in Grass Green) to stash the essentials + water & a cardigan or swimsuit, and the ever-so-trendy bronze-colored gladiator sandals by Isaac Mizrahi for Target. It's my favorite, because it's relaxed enough to run around in, yet jazzed up with the accessories - an outfit that lets you be ready for any adventure, which can happen a lot in the summer months ;]
