I have one! I got an aladdin looking one at comicon before i realized that a lot of people knew about them lol, holds up great!!

I like voodoo babies because the guy that owns the company I think? Is really nice. They always have gummy bears at their booths at conventions (saw them at AX and SDCC this year) I got a mini one for my bf hehehe I should post a pic they're so cute when they're mini! I also got a big batman

I think there are different brands for the voodoo dolls. Oh and the guy that runs the voodoo baby booths said that next year they're going to have directions on how to make your own voodoo baby!

Ah thats good to know, I bought two for my mom and brother when I went to Cali and then my boyfriend bought me one ^_^. I wonder how hard it is to make one o_O

i picked up Melenko at the booth at Kawaii Con, the guy who designs these is so nice. there was a giant one for display about 2 feet tall, it was so cool. he said that they were even thinking about doing an animated series & comic strip something or other about them. that would be cool if they came out w/a manga series.

You can see my baby satan in this one. Originally I went in wanting the "Demon Guard", but they didn't have that one. After looking at the website, I decided Baby Satan is cuter anyways, because Demon Guard doesn't have any shorts or belly button!

you know I was looking around the vdbaby.com site since my bf lost the one i got for him from SDCC and I wanted to get him another one and I found out that VooDoo Babies are the only ones that are copyrighted in all of North America so everything else made that looks exactly like them are basically fakes

Thats where I am confused at because if you look at the images on the VooDoo Babies site you see writing on some of them which says Ethnic Voodoo, look at the Lucky 7 Series for the best examples (http://www.voodoodoll.com.tw/us/). So are they the same company or what?

I'm not sure... I'm pretty sure I got my voodoo baby in 2005 I believe and ethnic voodoodoll said it was founded in 2004 (but doesn't say when in 2004)... If you're copyrighted are you copyrighted worldwide? VD Baby claims to be copyrighted in NA and Ethnic seems like it's only in Asia... their voodoos do look exactly the same tho (looked at the real/fake page) so who knows

they might be the same IMO just licensed differently? either that or they're stealing pics

Also I noticed that when Asian things come over to the states they always change the names

Like the Lion bot = voltron (first example i can think of)
