It actually looks pretty adorable, I think I will probably buy one for myself when they get released!

Oooh it's a cutie! But it depends how much it is. Oh and I can't wait until the line comes out too, I wanna see what else there is! =D

It says in the article that the bunny backpack is going to be $120.

Ick 100% paper and plastic and so costly! Don't think it will hold up in Washington's wet weather for the paper ones.

Just found this on myitthings.com sorry for the dbl posting:

After Stella for H&M, Stella for Adidas, Stella for Bendon and more recently Stella for Barney’s, is there anyone Stella McCartney isn’t designing for? Last week, the British designer debuted her exclusive limited-edition 17-piece collection for LeSportsac, which includes camera and computer cases, hobos as well as luggages. As expected from the socially and environmentally-responsible designer, the entire line is eco-friendly, meaning that all fabrics, hangtags and packaging are created from 100% recycled materials. A spokekewoman for the brand said that “Stella designed this with her lifestyle in mind, so these are really the items that she and her friends would carry when they travel”. As for the colors, expect purple, antique pink, blue, orange and purple. Some of these shades are available in quilted and colorblock versions as well with prices ranging from $98-$475. The collection is set to hit stores in January 2008 in high-end department and specialty stores, including Stella McCartney boutiques and LeSportsac units, plus online. ...

Apart from the bunny bag I don't think I'll be buying from Mccartney's line either. Not fond of dark contrast pocket borders as they make bags look so cheap like the LeSportsac Boutique.

Man! Is the release date still Jan. 25th? Because I'll be in Atlantic City later this week and I'm most definitely stopping by the LeSportsac store in the piers while DH does some gambling

I think I want the bunny bag...I just have to see it in person first. I have like... no perception of how large it might be. Needless to say, I can't wait.

GUYS! I was in the LeSportsac boutique in SoHo this afternoon and picked up the preview catalog for the Stella collaboration with LSS

I'm scanning them right now, and while some of them are extremely cute (albeit ridiculously expensive ) I must say I was soooooo disappointed to find out that the Bunny Rucksack, as it is called, was designed for children The dimensions are listed as 7.25"x12" but even if it was a passable size, I'm afraid the straps might not be big enough!

I guess I'll just have to wait and see it in person. Pics of all the bags to come in a few!

I'd strap the small bunny to my carry-on luggage. I just like to travel in style you know?

Thanks for scanning them in! I can't wait to see these bags? Are they going on Lesportsac.com at the Jan 25th launch or will the site be behind?

wander: The SA at the store told me "February" and all of the promotional merch says "February 2008". Basically, I left my phone number there and I'll get a ring from them when they come in. As far as the website goes.... I have no idea. Personally, I just want to see the bags in person first since it's an entirely new line that I'm not familiar with (I'm not even sure the material will be LeSportsac-like )

We'll just have to keep checking the site until then!
For now.... Pictures! (Sorry, the scanner was giving me a hard time )

If there's any clarification needed...let me know. I tried my best with the camera
Also, 8 at a time, so bear with me for a few more posts!

Last one!

So, what do you guys think? Some of the items are quite attractive, but the prices are just a bit too steep for me

I think her collection doesn't seem to have a single design theme, it's quite all over the place, and I'm not referring to the color palette. Her designs mimic Lesportsac's Boutique collection for the pocket borders, and Fergie Kipling's zip-around-a-flap nonsense, ebag's totes, and Belgian urban brand Hedgren. I think the only unique designs are the bunny bag and the travel clutch. And I do agree her prices are over the top for recycled materials.
