The 17-piece, limited edition nylon handbag and luggage collection will debut on January 25th at LeSportsac’s 30 stores worldwide. The other retailers will have to wait till February to roll out the collection.

Ready to give birth to her third child, McCartney has motherhood on the brain. Each bag contains compartments for cosmetics and baby wipes and insulating compartments for baby bottles.

The Mum Tote, for instance, comes in a dusty pink nylon with a changing pad and a laptop sleeve. In an e-mail, McCartney said she was focused on making the bags “user-friendly, yet attractive…bags with a point of difference in lightweight travel, not just black; bags that complement your personality and your lifestyle.”

Wholesale prices range from $42 for a cosmetic case to $204 for one of the luggage pieces.

Another McCartney hallmark is being environmentally conscious. All the fabrics are made from 100 percent recyclable materials and even the paper hangtag is made from recycled paper. The plastic dust bags in which the handbags come are completely biodegradable.

Thanks for posting the article. Although I'm not digging the other bag they showed in her collection. I'm hoping she offers some black bags. I wonder if lesportsac.com will offer the bags?

I agree. I'm not liking the brown/pink combo AT ALL.

I hope some of the other bags will be different.

The bunny bag is really cute, but not something I would be comfortable carrying everyday. I don't really care for the other bag in the picture.

I would love to see a picture of the cosmetic cases, if anyone is able to find one. Otherwise, I guess we will have to wait until January 25th!

Hmm... while I think the concept of the bunny bag is cute, I can't see myself wearing anything like it. It's a little to adolescent for me. The second bag is also cute. I like the chocolate brown they chose, but unless the photo is making the pink more muted than it really is, I don't like the shade. It could stand to be a few shades deeper. It looks like it has a luggage tag also... does anyone know if it will be intended as a piece of luggage rather than a purse??

i saw a pic in our local magazine which featured a hobo from the Stella McCartney for Lesportsac .. i thot it looks quite chic but I heard from the store manager that this line is at least 30%-40% more expensive than Tokidoki

This is really cute! And I love the bunny keychain! But I think I'll be passing if they are too expensive.

these are super cute. i don't think they'd really fit my wardrobe/style and they are definately out of my price range though.
