i talked to a SA for Lesportsac and said they did not know of this, as the Hawaii store is a franchise and not a direct lesportsac store...not sure what this means or if they have a special deal worked out but as far as the SA knew it is just a rumor that keeps growing (who also confirmed with a LSS higher up they'd not be released in the US mainland...)

so basically...either no one knows or there is a lot of confusion...i'd wait to we see something direct or some physical proof before we all get happy..although i'd be excited about the foresta too!

haha omg foresta was #1 on my list~ The bad thing is... I can imagine the rush of people trying to get each bag they want once it comes out...

I wonder if I'll even be able to get my hands on the *one* that I want

omg, FORESTA is my FAVORITE print!!! I actually don't own any tokidoki bags but once Vacanze comes in, I WILL!!! oh man, must save to get a foresta too omg omg omg. maybe a small foresta purse heh, will be getting MM in vacanze. oh my what to do what to do. hmm i might get a wallet in foresta, denaro, we'll see. sooooooooooooo excited right now....

its starting to sound like it's only going to be released in hawaii.. o_o i mean a SA confirmed that it'd be released in hawaii... so perhaps the franchise had special permission to re-release the print for hawaii. who knows. Lol.

im one of those dodos who's very fickle - i wasn't really into Foresta back then
i bought a Ciao Ciao and sold it off - i shopped for fellow tPFers for a Zucca, a Caramella and two BVs when Foresta was scarce and there was still some in KL
...and now, I really want a Foresta BV! and of course they're either nowhere to be found or waaaaaay overpriced

this sounds too good to be true, cause if they re-release it wouldn't be a Limited Edition anymore and different outlets are saying different things... hmm very skeptical, but hopeful

I think it makes sense that if they were to re-print and re-release, it would go to Hawaii. Hawaii/Guam is getting bags that are not being offered in the US right now (Caramella, Mamma Mia, Corriere, etc), so of course LeSportSux is going to give them Foresta too!

You would think that LSS would be about maximizing profits, so why wouldn't they release it in US?? They would make a killing!! Sounds like they need a widget lesson with lisalala!

i think they're making a killing off of the tourists that are here in hawaii. o-o i see lots of tourists going into the stores and buying them up.

Needless to say, 4/6 lesportsac stores (DFS included) is in Waikiki.

Not to sound mean, but if they do re-release Foresta only in Hawaii I'd be happy because Hawaii (and Guam) has been stuck with jacked up prices and stores on the mainland not being able to ship here... It's about time we got SOMETHING!! *lol*

Ooh, Maya, I wasn't trying to hate on Hawaii for potentially getting Foresta... I just am annoyed at LSS for having bizarre policies that contradict each other and for generally making us collectors' lives difficult. If you guys got reprint Foresta, it'd be great. Reprint is better than no print.
