I went to target yesterday and the simone legno school supplies were already very picked over. No more backpacks, pencils, shopping bags. There were a few packs of highlighters and I scored some. 2 messenger bags, very few binders and folders and a lot of clipboards. Luckily I ordered the backpack off of the website and I got it already. Very cute!!

I got both bags must I say the quality is far better than I expected for a $20 bag! The embroidery is perfect, and in nylon instead of PVC which is goooood! Lots and lots of organizing pockets within each bag you'd love them.
T-shirts are in the childrens dept. They SHRINK on first wash, should have known better it says to wash in cold water, therefore they're not pre-shrunk. I'm an M in mainstream Toki apparel but after the wash the L of Target's shirts will fit just as snug, so size up. The print doesn't really come off if you handwash and iron on the reverse side. The monkey rocker on black shirt has neat gold cymbals. The reusable non-woven bag looks quite handy, found on the special rack for Toki things located in the school supplies section. Most had faulty prints on the inside so before you buy open the whole bag to inspect the print quality. I bought highlighters and mechanical pencils for my friend in Singapore she and her daughters are probably gonna be the only ones there flaunting them ;P The clipboards are made of breakable plastic I wouldn't recommend them. The notebooks do not have illustrations on the inside they're just plain ruled paper. The ring binders are average quality but the price makes up for it. "MINI SEASONAL" it says on the tags. I guess they're on display till the next school term... or rather while stocks last! DH had to say about letting kids use for school "Make sure the kid holds his bag at all times or else whooosh it'd be gone. If another kid doesn't take it their parents will", LOL. |

I am so weak!
I went to Target after work today to pick up some cards and I ended up in the school supply section. I had to go hunting around because the special Simone Legno display was practically empty, but I ended up with a pack of highlighters, a pack of mechanical pencils, 2 clipboards (because my husband is always stealing my clipboards), and a book cover. I don't know what I am going to do with the book cover, but I'll think of something And I really wanted one of those reusable bags but they were all sold out

The clipboards are adorable. We were in target yesterday and stumbled upon the toki display and of course we couldn't resist. We got a folder, clipboard and two re-usable bags. Everything was so cheap

My Mom and I were in Target yesterday, and we got several of the reusable shopping bags and one of the spiral-bound notebooks. On previous trips, we'd bought a clipboard and mechanical pencils. I liked the backpack and satchel, but I know I wouldn't use them. The shopping bags seem to be the most popular. It took visits to three Targets before we found any!

Yeah, ed hardy sucks....colors so muted, and its nearly the same pattern on everything.....limited creativity...oh well, to each their own....I wonder how Target chooses which stores to have EH and which ones have TD? Not everyone likes TD, and definately not everyone likes EH.

FYI, the Target in Hayward, CA has some Simone Legno stuff - I was there last night. I saw about 10 of the reusable bags, and a few of the other school items, like backpacks, notebooks, book covers, etc. - even tshirts in the Boys department. I think they extended their hours til 11pm also!
