Default Pics of my Carnival Sorriso (bigger version of Bambinone)
My Sorriso is here!! Sorriso is similar to the Bambinone but maybe 2" wider which is better, and 2 slip pockets in the front. DH and I spent considerable time admiring the print, I think my bag, though small, already has all parts of the print. Karmaloop fulfilled my request (on paypal note) for lion to be centered!

Improvements over the previous LSS collection:
* More interior pockets and more functional
* Less flimsy strap and buckle details
* Smoother zippers
* Adios qee has a fixed head, can't be turned around and can't be beheaded
* Adios qee has the chain affixed to his back rather than on a plastic noose around his neck
* Leather loops where bling chain and Adios keyring is attached to, are longer and less stiff, making threading through a breeze
* Lining material has a microfiber feel though the denier seems similar to the previous collection
* Carabiner has enamel color coating rather than paint, my Vacanze carabiner's color finish is already scratched up
* "Tokidoki" on carabiner is laser-etched rather than silkscreened

Original price $158
Shipping DHL $9.95
Total $167.95
Total after discount code $136.35
Savings $31.60

I've decided to get 1 small bag this print, but maybe 2 from the Punk print cos that's the print I really want.

Back of Adios qee

As someone previously mentioned, the nylon fabric is slightly softer than previous LSS series. It has the same ripstop weaving as LSS bags.

Super cute!! I love the diamante on the zipper pulls! I'm glad to see they seem to be better quality that the previous bags...

Ok I used this bag tonight! Overall I'd say I prefer this new bag over past collections. It's lighter, colors are brighter, the microfiber feel of the lining gives some class to the bag. Most nylon bags have cheap shiny nylon lining, to give you an idea of what I mean, take a good look into Kathy Van Zeeland bags, that's the cheapy nylon lining I'm referring to.

In addition by using the bag I noticed the following:
* chain bling is made of 2 different sized chains, one with smaller shot-beads than the other.
* leather loops where bling chain and qee attaches is much thinner. I was removing my qee I was so afraid of tearing the loop.
* strap is thick and very stiff, honestly I prefer the older LSS strap, this one does not sit well on my shoulder as it doesn't conform to the body curves.
* dark green leather is horrid looking, I don't know why Simone chose to use this color over bronze, brown, tan or black.
* strap and leather make creaking squeaky noises as I walk/move.
* elastic cord attached to carabiner is less stretchy, and seems a little shorter, I have to move closer to keyhole :(
* print has neon colors -- dayglo pink on carousel, dayglo orange on lion's fire and hotdog stand, dayglo green on the cactus boy receiving candy floss. In low light, like sunsets, colors appear even brighter.

I had a look at the Bacio online and using characters on print as an estimate of size, the Bacio is indeed very small, smaller than dimensions given online, and my long wallet will not fit inside. I think the person taking the measurements must have included the piping border which isn't really adding length to the bag. For $20 more, the Sorriso is well worth the expenditure compared to the Bacio.

Are the Amica straps long enough to be slung over the shoulder without having the top of bag too close to the armpit? Initially I wanted to get this style but the straps didn't look long enough on photos.

I just got my bacio in the mail last night. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I love it a lot more than I thought I would!
I think its a little odd how the qee hangs now that it is attached from back. It hangs upside down. I moved it to the other side of my bag where I liked the placement slightly less, and was really scared of scratching up the gold hardware in the process as it wasn't the easiest thing to do.
There are so many interior pockets on this, I love it! I really want something with the haunted castle on the print, and I'm thinking hard about getting a creativa as a laptop bag (even though I don't carry my laptop around very much) because I have so many toki purses right now and I know I will want a concerto one when they are released. If anyone has one, I'd love to hear about it or see some pictures. It sounds pretty big for me as my laptop is fairly small.

Lets see if i can figure out how to put pix of it here :)

oh yeh, forgot to mention that I agree about the green leather. yuck. Maybe because mine is so small I don't really notice it as much, it just kind of blends in. Green seems like a very weird choice though.

thanks for posting one of the first pics, vpt and Kritz. nice to see the close up pics of bags people buy, the insides of it as well as your opinions. Thanks for your thorough opinions, VPT....really appreciate it alot since i dont get hands-on experience with alot of bags here where i live.

i really like the pretty placement on the hotdog and merry-go-round, Kritz. so very carnival-ly. :)

I like that side a lot too I ordered mine blind through karmaloop and didn't make any requests, so I'm pretty happy with mine. I like all of this print (well, maybe not the clown) and it seems like things are pretty close together so its maybe easier to get a good placement with this print. I have no idea what stores out here (washington state) would even carry these bags. Maybe some in seattle, but that is 2 hours away from me.

On a side note, now that I see my bag in the sunlight, the green leather is a bit more noticable. I wonder if it will have the same leather for the concerto punk print. Probably.

Kritz I'm also residing in WA, I think the best place to get Tokis are in Llyod's Center in Portland, do you live near the border?

I live in bellingham, near the canadian border. We have a macys, but I'm not sure that they ever carried tokis (I got into them late, in feb or so of this year, but I would have noticed something like that at macys) Any other stores you get them at?

Thanks for the review VPT ad Kritz, sounds like quite a transformation away from the LSS tokis.

I see you live near the north border, if you live close to the Seattle Premium Outlets in Tulalip you can try their LSS outlet store just after the season. Tokidoki bags are still manufactured and marketed by LSS though there's no mention of this association on the product.
