Is this method okay, or is it better to be able to actually pick out your own bag? I am very new to tokidoki. I was able to buy my first bag from LeSportSac, but now they no longer carry the bags. Any advice is appreciated!

I've ordered from both Lesportsac (before they stopped carrying tokidoki) and tokidoki.it, and had good experiences with both. The only problem is that you don't get to choose your placement (though you could always email or call them and ask if you can discuss placement, I didn't try to). I don't know how new you are to tokidoki, exactly, but each individual bag does have its own unique scene on it.

However, both bags had amazing placements (without me requesting anything--I was lucky I suppose) and arrived quickly and in perfect condition, as expected. Definitely recommend ordering from there if you don't care about placement. It's the safest way to order the bags, I'd say.

The tokidoki bags use different cuts of the fabric for each bag, so you get a different placement on each bag making them all individual. Some bags have a really good placement - so popular characters or scenes are easily visible and become the "feature" point of the bag ie. you get Sandy front and centre.
A bag with poor placement is with ordinary characters or boring scenes ie. the christmas trees from the Vacanze print.
If you want a particular character, email them asking to get particular characters or placement on your bag and hopefully they can help you out and choose some bags with great placement. Otherwise you'll just have to hope it's a good one. HTH
