Hahaha. I remember that used to happen to me all the time when I was younger and couldn't hold the plastic thing down long enough and it'd fizz all over the creation. Hahaha. The 2" ones do. You pull off the head and attach the keychain part.

It's not hard. The head just pops up and you slip the plastic ring around the neck and pop the head back on. Very simple, takes like 2 seconds.
