Cool New Lesportsac smells really bad!
I just bought my husband and I each a new bag from the Lesportsac outlet at Waikele in Hawaii. Him a backpack and a tote for me. The black lining inside both of our bags smells really really bad. Not like plastic. I've tried washing it out with a soapy rag and airing it our for hours and the smell won't go away. What is it? Anyone else ever have this issue with their Lesportsac?

no, i never had any smell problem with any of my lesportsac bag. i think you should take them back for exchange. maybe it's because of the room where they store them?

I've never noticed any smell with my bags. I once bought a Marc Jacobs bag off of e-you-know-where-bay and it smelled like smoke really bad. I put one of those baking soda boxes with the vents in the bag and left it in for about a month. The smell went away. Maybe the smell is why the bags were at the outlet?

i don't think that's why they are in the outlet. if there's a smell, i don't think they should sell it at all. i bought bags from their outlets before and never had a problem.

Thank you everyone :0) I'll try that baking soda thing to see if it helps.
I really don't want to return it unless I'm desperate because it's so pretty and I got a great deal on it.

Thank you again
