Here's a $10 off a $25 purchase coupon. It says it's not valid for handbags, but maybe you can make it work anyway. It should work on Toki clothing (or anything else you wanna buy).

annabellet: so it might still be on sale even if they didnt put it on the clearance table? coz last time i found an AS porta that wasnt on the clearance table n i checked n it wasnt on sale. i even asked the lady. she went and see the table n since there were no tokidoki of any kind on the clearance table she just said "well not all bags are on sale, if its not on the table then its not on sale"
tehlilone: in cerritos they have AS: bambino, luna, and mama mia or BV (im not sure which one coz i saw it really quick) and in downey they only had 1 pirata but i didnt check what kind but it looks like either a canguro or a nuvola, coz it was on the table n it looked kinda long... |

Just came home from Macy's Herald Square. Not much of a selection, and nothing tokidoki on sale. :(

Gingiemay, thank you so much for that! Just wondering, do you have to pay with a macy's card to use the coupon?
Also, I went to macy's today, and I got a AS Buon Viaggio and Canguro both for 25% + 40% off retail price. Seems like they're only clearing out AS and Pirata. |

Not surprising. I talked to a Macy's SR last night sort of near where I live, in Annapolis, MD. She did a scan for me on 2 bags, one a Tutti and one an Amore, both bambinone style. I mainly wanted to see if a Macy's that's closer to me than Annapolis had the bags. The SR did the scan, expressed surprise and told me that the only other bags in those styles were at the Herald Square, NYC store. And even worse, the bags were all full retail (even Amore!), and Herald square has a ton of them. About Annapolis, she was like, "They've just been sitting here all summer". Tell me, Toki fans from the Mid-Atlantic region, which stores carry Tokidoki bags? I guess not Macy's, except in Annapolis... |

The only Macy's that I've found, so far, that have Toki's in the DC area are Metro Center (which used to be Hechts) and Montgomery. I was at both last weekend, and NOTHING was on sale. The week before that there was one lonely AS Ciao on sale, which I bought just out of sheer excitement at finding some Toki on sale in department store, and then returned because it was missing the chain and the qee, and it looked like it might have been used and returned. The SA told me that as soon as the AS went on sale someone came in and bought it all. Can you say Flipper?
Right now those two stores have Famiglia and Tutti. They both have a decent selection since, of course, it's not on sale. I've yet to find a Nordstrom in the DC area that even knows what I'm talking about when I ask about Toki, and the SA at the Rack said they never get it. Edited to add: Thanks for the scoop on Herald Square. I was actually going to call them today and maybe do a charge send if they had anything I wanted. Bloomingdales at White Flint and Tysons have Toki (Famiglia, Tutti, Notte, Fumo, Bianco), but again, nothing on sale last weekend, and according to a phone call yesterday, nothing on sale this weekend. Mid-Atlantic Toki sources suck! Edited to add: Thanks for the Herald Square scoop. I was going to call them today, but I guess there's no point. |

macys' inventory system cannot be relied upon. i had them scan a BV at one location, and asked them to find any pirata bags at other locations. the computer system listed at least 8 pirata bags in difft styles so i went over to the other location and NONE were to be found. the SA was even nice enough to check in the back for me. she offered to look up availability at other locations but i said no thanks.
mcnyc: did you see any l'amore giocos? i'm in nyc and haven't seen any in a while..... |

Ok. At the Macy's Herald Square, there were the following prints:
Tutti (many on the 4th floor) Famiglia Notte (not on sale) Blanco (not on sale) That was as of last night. I don't know about today. Good luck. |

I really, really hate to say this, because I spent nine years working in retail, and I don't want to diss retail workers, but I wonder how many of the Tokis for sale on eBay were stolen by store employees. My cousin worked in management at Macy's West for years, and employee theft has always been a huge problem. I know that the only time inventory systems are correct is the moment the merchandise is scanned into inventory at the store - after that all bets are off. But when you hear that store is supposed to have X number of bags and they have none, it makes you wonder.

Good to know that Bloomies White Flint has them, but that stuff will probably NEVER go on sale. Also, I hate all the Macy's that were once Hecht Co., because they still have that residue of lameness. |
