I read that someone brought her bag to either the tailor or the cobbler to have the popped rivet fix.
When I worked in entertainment, we called those "brads" (for reasons unknown to me), but I am intimately familiar with them since we always had scripts coming out of our ears and we used the brads as fasteners.

gabes_mommy I would try the LeSportSac store first, the bags have a 1 yr warranty on them supposedly. Then you'll be getting an official Nana Star rivet! I bet a cobbler would be able to help too, or if you live in a horsey area, a tack shop. Pretty much anyone who specializes in leather work.

I was actually surprised (but happy) I won. My max was $200, including shipping so my top bid was $192 I think and I actually was at work when it ended and I came home and was surpised by my winning email. I think it ended up being like a dollar or two below by top bid.

they're for bookbinding so try phoning various art supply stores asking if they have them. if you can't find any let me know because the art supply store by my school sells them!

Ok, I found some Chicago screws online that are the same size as the Toki ones and they actually have stars imprinted on them - woo hoo! I'll post an update when they arrive and I fix the bag.

Take it to a shoe repair place or a place that makes horse tack like bridles saddles and such. It looks like it could have been a rivet which a upholstery place can also fix. Hope this helps
