sigh.... without a doubt I'm SURE I'm the oldest person here. None of my family or friends understand my obsession with tokidoki. They all think they are either for "little kids" or for the under 25 crowd. I haven't seen 25 in more years than I think most of you have been on earth :)

But.. I'm supposed to "stop liking" something just because I'm a certain age?

My bags make me smile and be happy. I've NEVER been a black or brown bag person. Whether I buy a fire engine red crocodile Dooney (yes I have one) or a hot pink *huge* leather tote from the local cut rate leather place (yup, got that too) or a Lexie Barnes pink black and white print bag with skulls in the center of the flowers (use that one to carry my KNITTING!) my bags are never boring. Tokidoki was made for me!

(and I never wear white bras either :) )

I like carrying something that is not cookie cutter as well. Of course Toki is very popular in some places but not up where I live. I've never seen a Toki carried by someone else. You have to buy what you love and what fits your personality at any age. I think it looks more out of place if you carry a bag that either you really can't afford or doesn't fit your style! I know I have a weird complex about designer handbags even the low to mid priced ones like Dooney and Coach. I wouldn't be as comfortable carrying something like that. I hate the whole "Look at me I'm carrying something designer thing". I like some of their styles but not sure if I'll ever buy from those lines.

I say go for it and be happy! It is your hard earned $$.

Yeah, I actually don't have a black purse. I'm WAY too attracted to colour.

Even if not everyone understands tokidoki now, they will when he gets super famous.

Dreamsoftoki, I believe we're probably in the same age range and I'm new to these bags in the past month and I believe why I love them so much is because I've FINALLY found bags that fit my attitude and style! I am a color lover as well!!! I may never be able to go back to my other purses! (And I better not for a while after spending hundreds on these new ones!)
