The first time I saw a Tokidoki item was actually the first time it was advertised ever (at least I think) in Teen Vouge magazine. Of course it was love at first sight. Then I was vacationing in Oahu Hawii and saw that a Le Sportsac store was housing the bags only weeks before I had been dying to get my hands on. Without even thinking I bought my first Tokidoki bag in Tokidoki print in the Bella style. Sadly the strap broke off and I was able to get it replaced, but sadly not with the same print. Oh well. I still love it.
So where did you first see Tokidoki? What was your first bag? |

I was at the mall, standing in line at Aunt Ann's for a pretzel
, when I noticed that the girl in front of me had the cutest bag. I was too shy to inquire, but I did notice it was LeSportsac...so as soon as I got to my computer, I did some research. Her bag was the Mamma...it was the print before the cammo prints? Shortly after, I began noticing the cammo prints everywhere...and the rest is history! My first one was Dolce in the black cammo! I regret selling all of my Tokidokis on eBay...so I'm looking forward to the new ones...I think the ecco print...

Before Simone collaborated with Lesportsac, someone mailed me a link to a game on his website... it's one of those chain sort of mails. I fell in love with his website. 1-2 yrs later I caught sight of LSS bags bearing his artwork and immediately I recognized it so I bought one right away not knowing it would be such a big hit afterwards. If I had known I'd have bought up all the Original Print :P First bag bella bella in OP I think! I can't remember, sold all but 1 away to raise funds for the new collection bags!

i learned about tokidoki from the many fakes i saw at my visit to asia. first they looked so cheap and childish (since the fakes were so badly made). Then when i saw a fake at my cousin's store, i fell in love with the bag style (it's a non-existent style) as well as the color and cute characters on them. ahhh, i didnt even realize how cute the characters were til i looked at them up close. i think it was the trasporto style. anyway, since i have arrived back to the states, i've been ga-ga over them since. i have two now, one of which i will sell because size is too small (the vacanze campeggio) though it is my first toki. still have plans to get more of course. lol.
