Default Are Denaros worth the auction prices?
I've been looking at Denaros on the bay, and they're all prices over $100, most around $150!! when I look at completed listings, they have not been selling for that amount. One sold for over $100, but one also sold for about half of original retail!

Is there any other place to get Denaros?

Why are these prices inflated on the bay? will they stay high like this?

I hope Simone comes out with some new Tokidoki wallets!!

No they are not worth the ebay prices. I don't think you can get them anywhere else now. Personally I find they don't hold much, I can't use them as my main wallet, and when used often the zipper can get stuck if I'm not careful. Don't know about you but I won't pay over $100 for one.

I love Denaros I own four with a Famiglia Denaro on its way from Hawaii . ( Yeah ! ) I think because the new line of Tokidoki handbags has no accessories to speak of and it seems this item is becoming quite collectible . I myself would love to own a Denaro

OOps pushed Post Reply too fast but what I wanted to say was that I want to own a Denaro in every print that Tokidoki For LeSportSac ever made ! It will be expensive ! But given the cost of these items and that I am super picky in regards to print placement . I will no doubt taking my time in choosing my dream Denaros . ( All of my bags and accessories MUST have Sandy front and centered ! )

I also find if there is a sought after charater such as Sandy or a popular scene on the Denaro the prices do go up ! I don't see the prices going down on these anytime soon since these are no longer being made . Some Denaros are still available in both Hawaii and Guam but even then expect to pay at least $ 100.00 with taxes and shipping !

Not for me. I never like Denaros anyway but I was surprised that there's so many people out there who's hunting for Denaros and willing to pay. I have received requests if I have any Denaros but sorry no, since I've never liked them in the first place. To think that I've undersold my OP Angioletto. Lucky for that person whoever bought it and I think she might have resold it at a much higher price on ebay.

I love the Angiolettos, but I don't own one and because of the rarity and high prices, I don't think I will ever.

Denaros are not worth the price, really at most $50 would be better, even then I would think it's a bit high. You only get two inserts, coin holder and dollar holder. The design on the outside is cute and all, but bags would be worth more than that. I'd recommend a small bag or something or just a neutral wallet and a tokidoki bag~

Whether the price will be high or not seems iffy, because right now all the eBay denaros are pretty high. Once in awhile I'll find a denaro that is under $100.

You can't really get them anywhere except for forum boards that sell/trade/buy tokidoki items and there are not a lot out there. You can also check craigslist, but be careful.

For that kind of money go get yourself a Bacio, I heard it's the best selling bag model in the recent Toki collection. Most people use Bacio as a wallet and will hold so much more.

I almost got the carnival one but it's so much for a little bag! I know I would get my money's worth, since I've been using a Coach wristlet for a couple years, and the bacio would be a great replacement. But I love the carnival print too much, so I had to get it on a bigger bag!

I'm thinking I'll get a bacio with the celabrazzione print...

I just looked for denaros on e*bay and boy are they priceeeey!
I bought each of my denaros (paradiso, pirata and citta rosa) for around $55 each, back when I was still collecting tokis.

I agree in that Denaros are cute, but are not practical for everyday use
There's just not enough space and the design is not practical for a girlie on the go: I'd hate to unzip in a hurry and have my monies flying about

That said... they still are pretty cute

^^ Yeah! I would have preferred them to have cost me $20... or free!
That would have been sweet: "Hey here's a little toki you can have it."

They are pricey but oh so cute ! I have my heart set on getting one in every print that Tokidoki for LeSportSac ever made ! I think since Tokidoki is gaining more popularity and we have more " newbies " collecting there will be even more demand for these pieces ! I am waiting for my latest Denaro from Hawaii ! ( Yeah ! ) I can't wait to see it in person . It has my PERFECT print placement with Sandy front and centered at the front of the Denaro ! I just love Sandy she is on the front and center of all my bags where Sandy is in the print ! But these prices ! Oh well no one ever said collecting Tokidoki was a cheap habit ! But it is fun getting your perfect pieces !

Momma, where are you getting the denaros in Hawaii from, what prints are available and what kind of price? I'm such a sucker, I haven't seen a denaro available in store for a while and naturally I want what I can't have...

unfortunately, the price of denaros these days will most likely be higher than retail. but there r some sellers asking for prices that r just way too crazy (ex. a black OP for $300....no way!!). i recently purchased 2 denaros, both above $100, but that is because the placement of the characters were perfect for me and i had wanted one of them for over a year..
