A Confession about Leo

I was never interested in buying a Tokidoki brand bag until now. Don’t get me wrong, I find the bag cute but I don’t see myself carrying one because it’s not the style I favor. The designs in the bag fabrics are colourful and fun and I like looking at those bags whenever I see one in the store. But I had a change of mind when I saw this “serena” bag in leo print. I like how the design seemed like leo-pard print from afar and only if you look closely you will see all the tokidoki characters. The design is random but I like it, it is also unexpected because who will ever think of seeing a fun character amongst what seemed like a leopard print, I also like that the print are small enough not to overemphasize the characters. It is fun and whimsical, the colors are a little muted but colorful enough because of the splash of pinks, blue, yellow and green. From what I’ve read, the Leo print was the first design that was released in 2009, so it’s not a new design but I just want to share my thoughts on this particular design. So, count me in among those who appreciate this particular design.

The Leo print is one of my favorites from the non-LeSportsac Tokidoki bag line. I also have a Leo Serena bag and I always receive many compliments when I carry it!

The Leo print was first released in late January/February 2009.
