Well, I received my bag and I'm very pleased with it!!!! It's about as chic and glam as a black nylon bag can possibly get, lol!
The blingy hardware and sheen on the nylon really dresses it up. (In fact, the sheen made it very difficult to photograph.) I also like that there's a layer of padding between the outer nylon shell and inner lining, which gives the bag a bit of structure and body, and also protects the purse contents better than a single layer of nylon, like on a Longchamps bag. And its really roomy.
I usually don't go for nylon bags, but these might change my mind. Everytime I see one on sale, I get tempted.
^^^I don't usually go for nylon bags either. I just think that everybody needs one "beat up bag" in their handbag wardrobe for days when the weather is really bad or when you'll be in some other situation (sporting event/pub bar/etc.!) in which you don't want to worry about potential damage to a high-end leather bag.
I have this bag which I bought for travelling and it is exceedingly pretty. However I've noticed that the patent leather handles sip off my shoulder easily which is a pain when you're standing at check-in or whatever.
I absolutely love it. Do you know how to fine one in the plum color?
^^^This color was from last fall, but I saved the pic from neimanmarcus.com just about a week ago. It's not available online now, but you could try calling NM to see if they have any left anywhere in the country that they could ship to you. Other options could be calling Tod's boutiques, or perhaps one will pop up on Bluefly. Good luck.
