Mmmm, I've bumped into this thread, yes, but haven't find a satisfying answer to all of my questions. Whether the bag is populer in the US and whether someone has spotted one in the numerous NM stores.

Maybe you should check the Tod's shop in Brussels. I am pretty sure they had a lighter version of this bag. I am going to have a look there myself next week (or during the sales) although I rarely buy stuff in Brussels, because Tod's is cheaper in Italy.

Marie, I was making phone calls earlier this week to some of the NM Last Call stores throughout the country, the outlets for NM. (I was looking for a specific bag.) Based on the description an SA provided on the phone, it sounded as though one of the locations might have had the Dokt Tote. Not certain if it's convenient for you to order from one of these stores, but if you'd like to PM me, I'd be happy to give you the ph. # for the store. Don't know if the bag is still there, but it's worth a try.

I can't say whether this bag is popular in the U.S. I don't see it often, but that doesn't mean it isn't popular. And I sometimes find that some of the more classic bags are somewhat less popular, which I usually like. I think it is a stunning, classic bag!

Yes, I'm pretty sure the price will be high in Brussels. Like everywhere in Belgium. Last fall I've spotted the Tods Took in tan in Knokke Zoute and it was priced 1.500 euro!!!
I bought a vintage one (only used a couple of times) for 380 euro.

Hi, Tod's lovers!
Yesterday my 5th Tod's arrived: it's the Tod's Took Sacca Media in tan, which I bought at Ebay for 399 dollar. It's such a light bag and the leather feels like velvet, I just love it! Here are the pics (don't look at my horrible dress, it's very hot in Belgium for the moment and I didn't know what to put on this morning):

I'm so fond of it, I'll probably buy it in "plaster" or "off-white" also.

Marie, how exciting! The pockets are marvelous, and I love the slouchiness of the bag. I can only imagine how lovely the leather is. Enjoy her! And good luck w/your quest for an additional color. I fully understand multiple colors of the same bag!

Yes, the bag is so supple, you would almost cuddle her! And the price is really a bargain, isn't it?
But I really have to look for a bag organiser, because it's hard to find my stuff in it!

The sales in Belgium start the 1st of July, but I'll definately stay at home. Have to save money for future Tod's!
