This is the D-bag in Persian lamb––or at least this is the photo my SA sent and identified as Persian lamb. Haven't seen it in IRL, but I think it's beautiful in the photo. I think my SA mentioned it's shearling inside, so has no inside pockets. Also, I think she mentioned it came only in piccola (small). Can't confirm these details, though. Let us know what you decide. Have you seen it IRL yet? If not, pls let us know what you think when you see it.

Looks pretty. I'm sure it would feel good (soft) to carry. I would think it might show spots (rain, etc).

Thanks everyone and thanks swan1 for posting the pic! If I do decide on this bag, I will post pics and let everyone know my thoughts. Thanks again.

Swan, any idea on dimensions for that size?

My SA quoted the dimensions as below, but it's probably a good idea to ck to be certain.

13 L x 8.5H x 6W

Saw the Persian lamb bag in the boutique today. It really is beautiful! I like it much better than the other new D-bag Baulettos they had. But as some have mentioned, I would be concerned about care of the bag––and getting caught in rain or snowstorms. Still, I have to say that, as others have mentioned, I've had no problem w/any of my TOD'S bags after they've gotten wet in the weather, so TOD'S might have already thought through this concern and weatherproofed the bag in some way.

Thanks swan1. What do you think of the size - equivalent to a good everyday bag size? Thanks again.

Yes, I think so, but this is so subjective. It would probably be too small for me, but I like larger bags. What I sometimes do when I'm considering a specific bag is to call a boutique and ask for several photos to be emailed: one photo of the bag I'm considering placed next to a bag I own or whose dimensions I know well––and another photo of the SA wearing the bag. (I also will generally ask for a photo of the interior.) This often helps me make a decision. Good luck as you move forward to decide!
