Zipper Ends & Tassels

is there anything to fix the split tassle? i mean, is normal for them to split only after 3 months while not even using it that much. i love the bag as soon as i got it, but it's not what i expect from a £720 bag. any suggestions would be helpful...
for me it depends on how I want to wear the bag- if i'm going out and about all day i usually wear them out- and carry my city by the shoulderstrap... but if i'm going for a more structured look i tuck the ends and tassels in, except for the front tassel- it always is out! and then carry it by the handles... but i like it handheld with the tassels out too
