The reason I asked is that I just had a call from my fiancé to buy some scent for him from the airport when I get back. He says that he’s not into anything in particular and may be I can choose a new (and the next word in a sarcastic tone ) good one for him so I would be grateful for your thoughts; essentially what fragrance would you buy for your SO?

Normally he uses Jo Malone Lime Basil & Mandarin and I already have a vague idea but would appreciate suggestions especially from the fragrance expert ladies!

it all depends on your mans natural smell to begin with. Personally i LOVE hummer.

Obsession for men is nice too. I guess it depends on the smell you like as well. I tend to like a more musk/muted smell. Nothing too strong.
