Which food groups do you eat the most/least?

  1. I thought this would be a neat thread :yes:

    So, here are the questions:

    1- Which food group do you eat the most of?

    2- Which food group do you eat the least of?

    3- Which food group should you eat less of?

    My answers are
    1- carbs, (like breads, grains, pasta etc) or fruits
    2- The milk group (protein??? not sure of its offical name)
    --- I don't like yogurt,cheese :yucky: , and stuff like that
    3-Hmm -- I can't really answer my own question! I don't really eat lots of sugary food or tons of meat so probably like carbs. Idk really lol:shame:


    Anyway, what are your answers!

  2. i eat carbs and proteins the most, fruits the least, and dairy and veggies are probably somewhere in the middle - i eat those fairly often as well. i should probably eat fewer carbs, but i try to make them whole grain whenever possible, so i don't feel too horrible about it.
     

  3. 1. Probably protein...I eat so much chicken usually with a bed of vegetables!
    2.I eat very little fruits...but I eat alot of vegetables especially spinach and broccoli.
    3.Carbohydrates! Most definitely...I love bread...especially sour dough bread...with alittle butter.
     
  4. I eat a lot of carbs and protein together. Ug, I know. That's awful and I should eat less of them together and eat them separately in smaller portions. I just love sandwiches.
     
  5. 1 - protein and good carbs
    2 - slow carbs (breads etc...)
    3 - slow carbs (should cut down more) and refined sugar (should cut out entirely!)

    fish/seafood (i work in a seafood restaurant and i'm sick of it)

    most definately sugar...and probably bread too. mmmm bread.

    i eat a lot of meat... a good amount of veggie whenever they are available... and rice/noodles on occasion...

    cheese, beans

    bread, butter (lol), noodles

    1-I eat a lot of pasta with cheese which is prolly not that healthy. Altough italians seem to be doing just fine :yes:
    (and please tell me if I´m spelling altough right, or is it although, I can never get that right)

    2-The least would be protein since I´m a vegetarian. That´s why I bought proteinpowder to make those god-awful shakes with :push:

    3-I should eat less of white bread.
     
  13. 1. i eat lots of carbs- bread, rice, pasta, cookies, ...etc

    2. i don't eat enough veggies/ fruit/ dairy... i eat well in spurts...one week i'll have healthy foods so i'll eat healthy...other weeks i'll eat bread, cheese, pasta... and on and on...

    3. i need to watch my carbs, eat protein and veggies w/ every meal!!
     
  14. Foods I eat most: fruits, veggies, fish, whole grain pasta
    I don't eat enough protein (hardly touch meat)
    I could reduce sugar.

    Protein - I eat alot of fish and lean meat and ALOT of cooked veggies (almost always mushrooms - I'm on a mushroom kick)

    2- Which food group do you eat the least of?
    Carbs and dairy- I don't eat any carbs besides occasionally some fruit - and I've become lactose intolerant since my WLS

    3- Which food group should you eat less of?
    I'm only eating about 400 calories a day now - so there's nothing I should be eating less of, I should be eating more - but it's not as easy as it sounds.
