Amarante! I think if you would have a vernis piece for a longer time, that would be the best. No colour transfer.

Thanks for all the advice. I haven't had a large piece in Vernis yet, so I had forgotten about the possible color transfer so Perle is OUT. As for the suggestion for the Framboise, I do love the color (and have a couple of small pieces) but it just wouldn't be as versatile as Pomme or Amarante. The noisette just isn't me and I'd be worried about the possiblitity of discoloration.
So it is down to Amarante and Pomme. The Amarante is best as a Fall color and looks so good with it's hidden plummy depths. But boy does that Pomme POP! Love it with jeans and can totally see it with a dressier evening look.
