which boots to keep

I got the Bolo boots on sale at Bloomingdales and paid full price for the Nordstrom boots. Price was about same but Bolos were more originally. wore Nordstrom boots for a day and feet hurt by afternoon. Bolos not tested yet. Not sure about the round toes on the Bolos. Opinions? Anyone worn these? Are the lace-ups too trendy?

I have a pair of Bolo boots that I bought from Zappos.com and I love them. They aren't the same style as the ones you're considering, but they come to about the same height on the leg. I wasn't sure about them at first, as they seemed a little snug around the calf so I even went so far as to request a "Return Label" from Zappos. In the end I kept them and I'm glad I did!

Bolo seems to me to be really well-made and the style you have chose is cute!

Personally, I'm not crazy about the lace ups. I bought a pair and then brought them home and walked around in them for awhile. I really didn't like the way my feet looked in them.

I like the pair from Nordstroms. But if they hurt your feet that's a bummer.
