Where are Michael Kors bags made?

Does anyone know where Michael Kors bags are made? Like the Astor bag (leather tote with the studs up the middle)....

I think the Astor bag is from the "MICHAEL Michael Kors" line and is made in China.

The higher end Michael Kors bags are made it Italy.
